Lisa Scheller Lied About Taking Her Salary to Zero. We Can't Trust Her.

Lisa Scheller is an extremist Republican. She supported Trump's lie that the election was stolen, and even wants to ban abortion nationwide, with no exception for rape or the life of the mother. But if you dig a little deeper, the story gets worse.

As CEO of the company Silberline, Scheller laid off hundreds of Pennsylvania workers, outsourcing their jobs to China, while pocketing millions in COVID aid. If that wasn't bad enough, Sheller tweeted that she "took her salary to zero to maintain (her company's) current workforce."

This, of course, was an outright lie. Not only did Scheller not maintain her current workforce, she also didn't take her salary to zero. Mandatory House ethics disclosures show that Scheller made at least $1.4 million in business income in 2020.

Scheller has shown time and time again that she has no problem taking advantage of Pennsylvania workers. Clearly, she is perfectly ok with lying to voters about her business life.
